Country resort made famous by Married at First Sight hits the market

A large NSW hotel is for sale.

Mudgee's largest hotel, the iconic Parklands Resort is on the market by expression of interest.

The resort, situated on a significant 15.7 hectares, is impossible to miss coming into town along the Ulan Road. The resort comprises 87 rooms and considerable multi-purpose conference facilities.

Company JLL Hotels and Hospitality Group brought the property to market and Senior Vice President at JLL, Andrew Langsford, said the resort offered a massive opportunity.

"Parklands Resort and Conference Centre represents an opportunity to capitalise on consistent demand throughout the week, catering to corporate and infrastructure-related demand on weekdays and weekend leisure through the eco tents and events like weddings," Mr Langsford said.

JLL Hotels also recently handled the sale of several other Mudgee premises, including the Paragon Hotel, Ten Dollar Town Motel, and Centennial Hotel in Gulgong.

The hotel is being offered vacant possession of the brand and management. Expressions of Interest for Parklands Resort and Conference Centre are open.

In 2016 the resort changed hands and became part of the Elanor Investors Group which added Parklands to its portfolio of hotels and in 2017, Parklands joined the AccorHotels portfolio.

Parklands recently hit our screens when newlyweds Eliot and Veronica from Married at First Sight Australia honeymooned at the resort.
